The Remodeling Process
Home improvement projects aren’t just about an amazing transformation. It’s about the positive experience that gets you there.
It’s all in the delivery and process is everything when you need all the puzzle pieces to come together seamlessly.
At High Tech Pacific Builders, the remodeling process is started off right with upfront planning and design. An approach that truly put’s you first:
- Your design preferences are defined and your needs are clearly understood.
- Your vision is refined as your project comes to life in a visual way.
- Your goals are clearly communicated upfront, so they can be accomplished.
Your complete satisfaction is our priority and our ”you-first” remodeling process ensures you should expect nothing less.
HTPB’s step-by-step approach provides clear direction on each project and it is broken down into five important stages.
- Project Discovery
- Planning & Design
- Pre-Production
- Construction
- Post-Production
Project Discovery
A complimentary, 30 to 60-minute Discovery Call will allow us to get to know each other a bit and review some project details.
We'll learn where you are and if we can help you get where you want to be. This phase may also include:
- Visual or invasive inspections & testing for homes built before 1981.
- Assessing the potential scope of work & anticipated time frame.
- Feasibility or constructability inspections & researching local regulations.
- Budget discussions based on comparable projects.
Are we a good fit? We want every homeowner to find the contractor who is best suited for them, even if it's not our firm. So, we will discuss what type of contracting company is right for you.
Planning & Design
HTPB Design starts by uncovering your style. With a design agreement we can help you collect your thoughts to convert your ideas into a tangible, visualization of your dream space. A custom design package will fit your specific needs and may include:
- Development of preliminary design & layout options.
- Color, 3D renderings for a concise visual of your finished project.
- Hold in-person, phone, or online meetings to review progress.
- Arrange for subcontractors & supplier site visits.
- Prepare preliminary estimates to finalize the scope & budget.

Get exclusive access to our product supplier showroom list. Backed by our discounts you can window shop with confidence. For permit jobs, construction drawings will now be developed and our licensed engineer will handle the structural factors.
Pre-Production
Once your selections have been finalized, special order items will be discussed and we'll present our construction agreement. Then, we'll move into handling other critical tasks.
Pre-production may also include:
- Plan submission to the local building department for permits.
- A job site analysis for the build team to review the site.
- Prospective timelines & an anticipated start date will be discussed.
- Clearing the staging & work areas for construction.

Finally, we will schedule a pre-construction meeting. This meeting is the last step in the pre-production phase. Planning and design culminate here as we review all the final considerations for moving your project into construction.
Construction
Once construction is underway, be kept "in-the-know" with online project tracking. Your questions and concerns will be addressed as they arise. Construction problems may arise, but our expertise allows for prompt solutions.
You can expect:
- Written quality control standards & checklists, so nothing is missed.
- Dust control to collect up to 90% of airborne particulates.
- Weekly site safety and craftsmanship inspections.
- Professional project management.
- 24/7 access to the project calendar, updates, photos, & other details from any device.

As your project is nearing completion, we'll inspection the work with you and complete any last-minute items and touch ups.
Post-Production
Once you are completely satisfied with the final results, you can start getting ready to enjoy your space. Manufacturer warranty information and your No-Worries Warranty Certificate will also be provided.
For your peace of mind, you will also get a:
- Video compilation of before and after photos.
- Complimentary, preventative maintenance checkup.
- 12 and 24-month project anniversary inspection.
- Handyman service discount for future minor repairs.
